How it started
Our story starts in Casablanca. My grandparents, Zari and Shalom, lived there before moving to Dimona in the 1960s. They brought Morocco with them: the food, the language, the songs and the big family. The first time I landed in Morocco, I felt I belonged somewhere I'd never been. I've kept going back ever since.
What we've built
We started as a community of Israeli travelers, with one rule from day one: every question gets an answer. This site carries that on. City guides, things to do and day trips, Jewish Morocco and hilula dates, Shabbat times across Morocco, and stories from the ground. All in Hebrew, and kept up to date.
Who's behind it
Yossi Bezalel, founder, works alongside our content team, who maintain the guides and information, and local people in Morocco: Hebrew-speaking guides, drivers and partners in the cities, with whom we've built lasting working relationships. Marrakech is the city we know best and where we spend the most time.
How we work
The information is open to everyone, free and without registration. Our recommendations are honest, including when they point you somewhere we don't own. When there's a commercial relationship, we say so.
