Car and driver for your route
Private driver in Morocco
Moving between cities at your own pace? Or a group with a villa that needs a car and driver for the whole stay? Send us your route and we'll come back with a price.
Our route planner adds up the real driving hours as you pick stops. For now it's only on the Hebrew page.Read it in Hebrew
When a driver makes sense
Between cities. The desert, Fes, the coast: big distances and mountain roads. A local driver knows the road, the stops and the right time to leave.
A group in a villa. Rented one outside Marrakech? You need a car for almost everything, from the airport pickup to dinner in the medina. One driver for the whole stay keeps everyone free to enjoy it.
Don't plan on Google Maps alone
Off the motorway, we add 25 to 50 percent to the map time. It covers villages, trucks, checkpoints and stops. Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou: Google says 2 hours 40 minutes. Plan for 4 hours at least.
Here are the seven routes Israelis actually drive. Five have no motorway at all. Our times are cautious estimates, and weather, traffic and stops can change them.
- Casablanca to Marrakech: 240 km, 2.5 to 3 hours. One day: yes.
- Marrakech to Essaouira: 175 km, 2.5 to 3 hours. One day: yes.
- Marrakech to Ouarzazate: 204 km, 3 to 4.5 hours. One day: yes.
- Fes to Chefchaouen: 195 km, 3.5 to 4 hours. One day: yes.
- Marrakech to the Dades Valley: 320 km, 5 to 6 hours. One day: no.
- Marrakech to Fes: 530 km, 5.5 to 6 hours. One day: yes, but long.
- Marrakech to Merzouga: 560 km, 8.5 to 10 hours. One day: no.
Two road facts that change your plan
The UK Foreign Office says road accidents are common in Morocco, and poor lighting at night makes it hard to see vehicles, pedestrians and animals. Dusk needs the most attention, when people head home and traffic changes fast.
Late December example: sunset in Merzouga is at 6:22 pm, so a 10-hour drive back starts before sunrise or ends in the dark. Source: UK Foreign Office travel advice for Morocco, checked 30 August 2026.
- Tizi n'Tichka, the pass on the road south: 2,212 m, more than 100 bends, 54 km of mountain road and no working tunnel to skip it. Leave time for the road itself. Get carsick? Know it before you go up.
- Winter: check before you leave. Snow, rain and landslides can close mountain roads.
One route, one price
There's no price list, on purpose. Four things set the price: how many days, how many people (that decides the vehicle size), the type of vehicle, and the route (distance, and whether the driver sleeps away from home). One rate card would be wrong or incomplete.
You send us your route. The drivers we work with quote it. You get one price from us and see exactly what's included. Approve it, and we give you the driver's details. We stay responsible to you until the trip ends.
- Driver, not guide. The driver knows the road and where to stop, but isn't a licensed guide and won't take you through a site with historical commentary. Want a guide? We have a separate track.
- Overnights and changes. On multi-day trips where the driver stays far from home, the quote spells out the accommodation. Route changes mid-trip need the driver's OK and a check on time, distance and road conditions.
Visa first, then the road
Start with your visa. It's the one thing every trip needs. Then send us your route and we'll come back with a price.
